Lillie Road Association

I was approached to build a community and marketing site for the Lillie Road Association, a collective of antiques shops in Fulham, having previously created work for their organiser. The brief was to create a catalogue of profiles of shops in the Association, with each proprietor able to log into a CMS to update their own shop’s content, list selected stock items for sale, and contribute to a blog.

I put together a Django-based solution with extensive admin and data model customisations to enable the per-user compartmentalisation and privacy required within the CMS. The site is also responsive, with a feature-complete mobile version, and includes simple integration with Mailchimp to allow visitors to sign up to a mailing list directly from the site. It also includes an API that shop owners can make use of to automatically publish stock items from their own websites, so as to avoid duplicated effort.
