Fear and Loathing on the Learning Curve: Observations on Life, Tech and Web Design from a Slightly Misanthropic Mind

Mission Statement (Old)

As recommended by the starting-up guidelines on the WordPress Codex. This is mainly to serve as a focus-reminder for me.

  1. What am I going to do with this? As well as other topical item, this blog will serve as a platform for me to write about my current experiences in education; my doubts, convictions, passions, flameups and trips.
  2. Who is going to read this? Collegues, friends, trawlers, crawlers, kids and crack whores. Okay, maybe not crack whores. Ages 16–25?
  3. What kinds of information will I be posting? Advice, journals, stories, opinions. Tips, how-tos and so on. Mainly the first lot.
  4. Why am I doing this? Because I want to write, to publish my thoughts and ideas and create something that people might find interesting, or engaging, even for a moment.
  5. Who am I doing this for? Myself, and every other slightly disenfranchised college kid out there. See Q2.
  6. How often am I going to be posting and adding information? Hopefully daily or every other day, if I can keep it up. Less frequently for higher quality material. Okay, at least once a week.
