Firefox 1.1 Preview

The Fedora Core Blog fea­tured a post earlier this month about the upcom­ing ver­sion of Mozilla Firefox. Version 1.1 is inten­ded for release some time before November.

On the cards for improve­ment are a bunch of UI tweaks, includ­ing one for the /. lay­out bug, bet­ter tab hand­ling and ren­der­ing speed improve­ments. On top of that, a new “Sanitize” fea­ture will be included, which, when activ­ated, will “scrub your pro­file of sens­it­ive inform­a­tion (which you select in the pref­er­ences)” to make secure brows­ing that bit easier.

The Linux key­board short­cut for this fea­ture is said to be Ctrl+Alt+Delete :) . Insert your deris­ive Windows joke here.
