The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette pub­lished an art­icle on Sunday by RIAA pres­id­ent Cary Sherman, whinging that uni­ver­sity stu­dents are “hijack­ing” Internet2 to pir­ate copy­righted works. Today the Post-Gazette pub­lished a let­ter [top item] from CMU Professor of CS and Music Roger Dannenberg, remind­ing read­ers what a hypo­crit­ical gang of bas­tards the RIAA are. Nice to see someone with some status stand­ing up for com­mon sense.
